JUMBO @ Dempsey Jumbo Seafood is a home-grown seafood restaurant group that was established in 1987. The JUMBO@Dempsey outlet is newest location. After years of continuous effort in providing quality food and service, we have since grown into a group of 7 restaurants serving ‘live’ seafood prepared in the authentic Singaporean style. Today, we serve more than a tonne of ‘live’ crabs each day – our iconic Chili Crabs and signature Black Pepper Crabs are very popular with both locals and visitors. JUMBO@Dempsey also offers other signature dishes like Crispy Baby Squid, Scallop wrapped in Yam Ring, Fried Prawns with Cereal, Golden Nest Salad Prawn and the award-winning Golden Egg Salted Prawns. And specially for this outlet, we have created an Executive Set Lunch which features our signature dishes presented in single portions, to be eaten in a fuss-free, non-messy way – our iconic chilli crab dish is reincarnated as a de-shelled crab claw swimming in a bowl of our award-winning chilli crab gravy. Also on offer are dim sum, snacks and barbeque selections. Guests will also enjoy seasonal Chef specials created specially for this outlet. These include dishes like Cheese Baked “Mentaiko” King Prawns, Chilled Crystals of Ocean Sunfish with Ginger Flower Dressing and Creamy Lemon Fried King Prawns. With the opening of the Dempsey outlet, Jumbo has evolved into a lifestyle dining brand. An outdoor cocktail bar and barbeque pit offers diners an alfresco dining option. Inside, elevated tanks of ‘live’ lobsters, prawns and fish create a memorable feature wall. Jumbo continues to deliver an authentic Singapore seafood experience – albeit in a more modern and luxe setting, surrounded by lush greenery outside.
